The Songs of Light

The Songs of Light is a collection of music projects managed by singer and composer Muse en Lystrala. Foremost among them is Seeds of Atropos, a collaborative modern classical project that features regular guest artists. The current lineup features mezzosoprano, percussionist, and accordionist Candice Christiansen, pianist Alex Tirrell, and violinist and baritone Nick Davies, in addition to Muse on voice and harp. The project's first album, Season of Hope, is in production and is expected to be released in late 2012.

Ocean Born Muse is a now laid-to-rest darkwave and classical project that ran from 2005 to 2011. Muse performed live regularly with this project for close to three years, and the project released a total of four albums and three EPs. The final album, The Labyrinthine Conspiracy, was released in April 2011, coinciding with its final live performance in Charlottesville, VA, USA.

Muse en Lystrala composes solo material, mainly world and classical, with some acoustic rock and pop influences present. Her first solo album, The Circle, is in production and is expected to be released in 2012.
